  RCD3063 V2.0 Magic Mirror Tachometer is an upgraded version from V1.0, it not only can measure RPM of helicopter rotor at long distance but also measure the RPM of the prop on fixed-wing airplane or multi-copters(quadrocopter); The V2.0 Magic Mirror Tachometer works in two modes, one is electronic shutter mode and the other is light sensitive sensor mode. 
   

  Electronic shutter mode is for measuring rotor speed of a helicopter in flight, under this mode, Magic Mirror tachometer actually is a kind of synchronous tachometer, it is a still image device by utilizing electronic shutter of high technology with human eyes’ persistence of version to look at the object, when the electronic shutter is on and off at the same frequency of the observing object, the motion object which is observed is still when user looks through the viewing window, and the RPM on LCD display is exactly the RPM of the observing object. The synchronous tachometer gets no limitation of distance , accuracy RPM measure can be achieved at the distance of no matter 10 -100 meters or hundreds of meters.
   

  Light Sensor Mode is suitable for fixed-wing airplane and multi-copters, under this mode, Magic Mirror Tachometer calculates and get the RPM data through pulse signal generated by light shading when the prop is turning, it supports for measuring 2-5 blade prop.
